Rector (Senior Pastor) – The Rev. Dennett H. Buettner
Dennett has served as Rector (Senior Pastor) of Church of the Savior since 2006. He was trained at Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, and also holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
Dennett is married to the former Andrea Jackson, who also serves as a Deacon at Church of the Savior. They have three adult children, and two grandchildren.
When not engaged in ministry, Dennett enjoys gardening, hiking, and reading, especially anything Calvin and Hobbes related!
Village Church Pastor – The Rev. David W. Ketter, III
David pastors the Village Church congregation of Church of the Savior. He is a 2014 graduate of Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge and a lifelong western Pennsylvanian. Besides ministering in Ambridge, he also serves as an associate campus minister with the Coalition for Christian Outreach, and writes for the Anglican Multi-ethnic Network.
In his spare time, David prefers to read (especially Tolkien) or catch a good movie or stand-up comedy routine with friends. He also enjoys hosting a weekly podcast called Fighting with God (Apple | Stitcher).
Deacon Laura Wicker
Laura has served as Deacon of Church of the Savior since 1999. She was trained at Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge. She is married to Stewart Wicker, President and Mission Director of the Society of Anglican Missionaries and Senders. They have three adult children and a daughter-in-law. Laura also works as Executive Administrator of the Pittsburgh Business Group on Health. In her spare time Laura enjoys biking, quilting, and knitting.
Deacon Andrea Buettner
Andrea was trained at Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, and has been married to Dennett for 35 years. In addition to her service as a Deacon at Church of the Savior, Andrea is employed as a chaplain with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh. She enjoys hiking, reading and loving her grandchildren.
