Church of the Savior meets for weekly worship as well as special events in the top floor sanctuary in our building. If you would prefer to join us virtually you can do so via the livestream of our weekly service, which can be found here every Sunday at 10 a.m. Archived services (as well as other COTS presentations) are available for viewing at any time on our YouTube channel here.
On all Sundays a simple children’s education time with Bible stories is offered during the time Scripture is read and the sermon is preached. Children of kindergarten age and up are welcome to participate. After joining their families for the opening time of worship in music, children and their teachers go to the Multipurpose Room on the main floor. Teachers will return children to their families for the time of Communion, typically about forty-five minutes later.
Preschoolers who are too young for church school are welcome to visit the “children’s corner” at the rear of the sanctuary during Sunday worship. Parents may also wish to allow their infants or toddlers to use the nursery, located on the main floor opposite the parish offices.
On Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. there is an online video Bible study of the Gospel of Luke. Please contact Deacon Laura Wicker at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or for a link.
Twelve Step groups continue to meet in the Fellowship Hall in the basement of our building Tuesday noon and Sunday and Thursday evenings. For more information please contact your group leader. If you are new to the Twelve Step movement, and would like to be connected to a group, please email us at email@example.com and we will put you in contact with one of the meeting facilitators.
Church of the Savior serves the Kyrie Cafe lunch on the final Sunday of each month. The next meal will be served on Sunday June 25, beginning at noon. The members of Church of the Savior look forward to welcoming many friends and neighbors as we continue to provide this free monthly community luncheon!
